Joe grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick but now resides in Edmonton. Joe has been with Aecon since March 2016 and likes the growth opportunity of his job and meeting a lot of nice people and new friends. The biggest influence on Joe’s career has been Ed Foreman, US Congressmen who has inspired Joe to get up in the morning with a positive attitude. In Joe’s words “Positive attitudes are contagious. Life is for living, loving, learning.” The advice Joe would give to the next generation of O&G construction workers would be to take safety as #1. Plan, Do, Check, Act.
In Joe’s spare time he likes to coaching ball, cycling, and reading books. He’s constantly upgrading his skills by reading and taking courses but Joe’s says his greatest accomplishment has been his family. Most nights when he puts his son to bed they tell each other 10 things that they are grateful for, and if Joe could have one super-human power it would be the gift of forgiveness and to have an attitude of gratitude.
Thank you Joe for being part of the Sturgeon Refinery project!
