Fuel Your Career Scholarship Program
Applications for NWR’s Fuel Your Career Scholarship program are now closed. The program provides financial assistance to eligible individuals who are pursuing a career that supports refining or upgrading. This program is open to students enrolled in or accepted to a full-time post-secondary program with a recognized post-secondary institution.
Eligibility:
The 2026 school of choice is NAIT. NWR is awarding scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each to two recipients from NAIT’s Power Engineering or Instrumentation Technology programs for September 2026 enrollment. Eligibility criteria is reviewed annually and schools/programs are selected that align with NWR’s recruitment strategy.
The program is open to:
- Students pursuing a career in disciplines or fields that support refining and/or upgrading.
- Post-secondary students must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 cumulative. Official transcripts must be provided.
- Students in compressed programs, students who fast‐track their degree and students who complete their studies early will only be eligible for scholarships during eligible terms where they study in a full‐time course load.
- Students must be able to provide a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN).
